I was certain about having a videographer, but James needed some convincing. It was his best man who finally persuaded him, sharing his regret about not having one at his own wedding. We were impressed by the editing and the overall feel of the films you've created. Each film seemed personalized to the couple, which was encouraging for us, especially knowing you had previously filmed at our venue. Watching your films was an emotional experience, especially with the narrations over the footage."“
Cherishing Our Journey“As both teachers, James and I are fortunate to have regular holidays together. We enjoy exploring new places, with some of our favorite trips including Iceland and walks in the Lakes. We're also big fans of binge-watching Netflix series, particularly Stranger Things. Occasionally, you'll find me engrossed in a Stephen King novel while James plays on the PS5. Family is incredibly important to us, and we hope to start our own family one day. We're each other's biggest supporters, always encouraging each other to pursue our aspirations.”
A Surprise Proposal
“James initially planned to propose on Halloween, my favourite day of the year. However, due to a delay in the ring, he had to rethink his plan. Instead, he proposed just over a few weeks later on 18/11/21, coincidentally three years after he first asked me out for a drink at 3 am. It was a Thursday, after school, and completely unexpected. As I busied myself with chores at home, James suddenly got down on one knee in the kitchen. It was a thoughtful and romantic ending to an otherwise ordinary Thursday!”

We were drawn to the hall's rich heritage and the fact that it has remained in the same family for generations. The grounds are simply spectacular, and the timing of our wedding coinciding with pumpkin week added to the charm. James was particularly impressed with the locally sourced and home-reared menu options.”

"As Newcastle is one of our favourite places, Sam booked Hotel Du Vin in Newcastle for our 4 year anniversary. He surprised me with ceiling balloons, hanging photos and rose petals covering the floor and left a note on the bed. As I was reading the note, he dropped to one knee and proposed."
