Sunshine, Saxophones, and Garden Games – Hayley & Jack’s Wedding Video at Scrivelsby Walled Gardens
From emotional vows at St Benedict’s Church to garden games and golden hour magic at Scrivelsby Walled Gardens, Hayley and Jack’s wedding day was the perfect mix of love, laughter, and laid-back summer vibes. Throw in their adorable son George and a smooth sax soundtrack, and you’ve got a day worth reliving again and again!
A Chill Wedding with Big Love Vibes
Let’s talk about Hayley and Jack, a couple who know how to do things their way—and with style. Their summer wedding was all about keeping it relaxed while packing in all the feels. From tying the knot at the beautiful St Benedict’s Church to celebrating at Scrivelsby Walled Gardens (with their little superstar George in tow), every second was soaked in love, laughter, and a touch of whimsy. And let’s not forget the saxophonist who added that extra splash of cool to an already epic day!
The Bells Are Ringing—And So Are the Tears
Hayley kicked things off with her bridal prep at the snug and lovely Lion Lodge, surrounded by her sister and bridesmaids, all buzzing with excitement. Meanwhile, Jack was having his own pre-wedding fun with his best man and little George. The vibe? Calm but with a side of “this is going to be amazing.”
When Hayley made her grand entrance at St Benedict’s Church, the bells chimed in perfect harmony with the gasps from the guests (because yes, she looked that stunning). Walking arm-in-arm with her dad Gary, the day’s emotions hit their peak. And, in a sweet tribute, Hayley wore her late mother’s wedding ring—a beautiful, quiet nod that didn’t leave a dry eye in the house.
Vows with a Side of Wit and Love
Now, onto the vows. Hayley and Jack exchanged words that made us laugh, tear up, and cheer them on. It was personal, sweet, and full of cheeky grins—the kind of vows that remind you why wedding videography is so important. And of course, little George stole the show just by being his adorable self. Jack’s promise to Hayley’s dad, Gary, that he would always cherish her was a real heart-melter. Cue the collective “aww” from the guests (and us behind the camera, too).
Garden Party Goals at Scrivelsby Walled Gardens
After the “I do’s” were said and done, the party shifted to Scrivelsby Walled Gardens, where the day took on a laid-back, ‘secret garden’ vibe. We’re talking lawn games, sunshine, and that magical “we’re in a rom-com” kind of light. Oh, and did we mention the saxophonist? The smooth tunes were the perfect soundtrack to this dream of a day.
As wedding videographers, we live for moments like these. The lawn games brought out the fun side of guests, while the golden hour made Hayley and Jack look like they’d stepped right out of a fairy tale. It was the kind of day where the sun and clouds seemed to be working just for them, creating a relaxed but totally Insta-worthy scene.
Filming Their Love Story—And Nailing It
When it came to capturing Hayley and Jack’s love story, we wanted to show all the little things that made their day unique—those quick glances, bursts of laughter, and the way they just fit together. From Jack’s heartfelt speech (with a side of humour) to the sweet father-daughter moments, every scene was dripping with love and good vibes.
And let’s talk about that saxophone again. Honestly, if you ever need proof that music can set the tone for your wedding video, Hayley and Jack’s day is Exhibit A. The soundtrack to their lives was filled with sax solos, golden sunsets, and laughter echoing through the gardens.
Why a Wedding Video? Because You Don’t Want to Miss a Thing
For Hayley and Jack, capturing their wedding on film was a no-brainer. They wanted a way to bottle up all the love, laughter, and pure joy that made their day one for the books—and that’s exactly what we aimed to deliver. From Jack’s tear-inducing (and laugh-sprinkled) speech to George’s cheeky grin, their video captures the moments they’ll want to revisit time and time again.

"We're Married, Baby!" – Kayley & Sam's Wedding Video at The Beverley Barn
When rain turned to sunshine on Kayley and Sam's wedding day, The Beverley Barn became a canvas for love. Their vows echoed in a cozy barn while the clouds parted for a perfect summer afternoon. This is more than a wedding video—it's a story of serendipity, laughter, and the magic of saying 'We're married, baby!"
A Couple Who Knows How to Celebrate Life
Kayley and Sam are a couple who truly embrace life and all its adventures. Their wedding at The Beverley Barn was a perfect reflection of their love for travel, music, and their beloved French Bulldog, Bella. Every moment of their big day was filled with joy, laughter, and a love so palpable that everyone around them could feel it. This wedding video captures all those precious moments, creating a beautiful keepsake of their celebration.
A Rainy Start with a Bright Outcome
The day of Kayley and Sam's wedding began with a steady morning rain, casting a bit of uncertainty over their planned outdoor ceremony. As the rain continued during the preparations, the decision was made to move the ceremony indoors. This change of plans turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as the indoor space at The Beverley Barn provided a beautifully decorated and intimate setting for their vows. Just as the ceremony concluded, the weather took a turn for the better. The rain clouds parted, revealing a stunning, cloudless sky. Guests were then able to enjoy the serene and picturesque countryside setting on a beautiful early August afternoon, making for an unforgettable celebration. This shift in weather added a touch of spontaneity and charm to the wedding video, perfectly capturing the joy and beauty of the day.
Capturing the Magic of Their Love Story
One of the most touching moments in the wedding video came during the golden hour when Kayley and Sam read love letters to each other. Filmed in the soft, golden light of the setting sun, this private exchange was a perfect representation of their deep connection and affection. Sam reminisced about their first meeting on a blind date at a bar, where he handed Kayley a single rose. “From the moment I first met you, I fell in love with your humour, your thoughtfulness, and your strength,” he shared. These words, captured in their wedding video, add a romantic layer to their story, showing why choosing the right wedding videographer is so important.
Speeches Filled with Love and Laughter
The reception was a blend of heartfelt speeches and joyous laughter, all beautifully captured in the wedding film. Sam’s speech was especially moving as he expressed his deep love for Kayley and the excitement of calling her his wife: “Today is the first day of the rest of our lives together, and I'm so excited to spend it with you.”
Richard, the best man, added a humorous touch with his anecdotes, bringing the room to life with laughter. "He has a heart of gold, and everybody loves being in his company," Richard quipped, balancing his affectionate teasing with genuine admiration. These moments added both humour and warmth to the wedding video at The Beverley Barn.
A Wedding Video That Captures Romance and Intimacy
In this wedding video, we focused on the romance between Kayley and Sam, capturing their personal touches and intimate expressions of love. From their heartfelt vows to the golden hour love letter reading, every moment was filled with genuine emotion. Wedding Video at Brackenborough Hotel, Louth
You are about to view the wedding video of two of the loveliest people you could ever hope to meet. It was an absolute privilege and a pleasure to be asked to produce their wedding video. Alicia & Sam have boundless love for one another and more than enough to go around for everyone else in their life too. We know that you will enjoy their story and their wedding highlights film as much as we did making it.
Why do you want a film of your wedding at the Brackenborough Hotel in Louth?
We wanted to have an everlasting memory of the day as a video so that the highlights of the day can be remembered and reflected upon. I’ve also heard from other brides and grooms that their biggest regret is not having a wedding video.
Why did you choose us to produce your Brackenborough Hotel Wedding Video?
We love your cinematic style and the natural flow to your videos, my favorite being the way the highlights videos are made and tell a story about who the couple are as well as capturing their wedding day.
Tell us about you as a couple
We both work lots of hours and shifts which can often clash with each other schedules therefore our time spent off together is always important and precious, spent enjoying each other’s company. Sometimes we love to just chill watch films together and laze on the sofa and other days we like to go to different cities, exploring and eating and drinking! When we have more time off together we always look forward to holidays each year just the two of us or with our friends or family.
Tell us about the proposal
Sam set up a treasure hunt around our home with each clue written on the back on a memorable photo from our relationship, along with reasons why he loves me. This eventually led to him on one knee, in our bedroom surrounded by candles and flowers.
Why did you choose a Brackenborough Hotel Wedding?
We picked the venue because it was modern with a nice rural location and the new Tennyson suite is separate at the back from the main building. We liked the fact us and our guests could celebrate day and night all in one location and that the venue only hosts one wedding at a time.
What experience do you want to give your guests at the Brackenborough Hotel?
We want to give our guests a memorable laid back fun filled day that they can look back fondly over.
