Ellie & Adam

Ellie and Adam’s little boy was part of their wedding at Riverlands Wedding Barns from the start. He walked between them holding their hands, joined the photographs and kept appearing in the arms of people who loved him. In their speeches, Ellie and Adam spoke about the family they had made and the parents they had become.
A ceremony with family close by
They exchanged rings in the barn, with the people closest to them looking on. Ellie spoke about seeing Adam become a dad and finding another kind of love for him; Adam thanked her for the kindness and care she brought into their lives.
Their son Arlo was part of the congratulations and confetti too. They wanted a relaxed, family gathering, and he belonged right in the middle of it.
Welcomed into the family
Ellie’s family had plenty to say about Adam. Her brother mixed familiar teasing with a sincere thank-you for the way he had looked after her and their little boy. Her stepdad Billy welcomed him as another of his children. Adam’s brothers Carl and Danny were his best men.
A reading of a grandmother’s words added something quieter to the speeches. The affection behind the stories was clear, however much teasing came with it.
From the Riverlands lanes to the dance floor
The brick barns and the country lane gave us lovely places to film Ellie and Adam together. They were laughing with one another in their portraits, then back among their guests for the reception.
Inside, fairy lights hung above the tables and the evening filled with dancing. Their little family was at the centre of a much larger, very lively gathering.
