When you enquire

We use the names, contact details, wedding date, venue and other information you choose to provide to answer your questions, check availability and discuss your plans. If you book, relevant information is also used to arrange and deliver our services and maintain business records. Please only include information about other people where it is needed for your enquiry.

Why we use it

We use enquiry and booking information to take steps at your request before a contract and to fulfil a booking. We may also keep records to meet legal obligations or for legitimate business purposes, such as managing correspondence and resolving queries. Optional website analytics is based on your consent.

The services involved

Our enquiry form is provided by 17hats. Email, website hosting and, where relevant to a booking, private film-delivery providers process information needed to provide those services. Embedded films are served by Bunny Stream or Vimeo after you choose to play them. Optional analytics is provided by Google Analytics. These providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable data-protection arrangements.

Website analytics and films

Analytics stays off until you accept it. If accepted, it measures website visits and actions such as choosing to play a film, opening the enquiry page or clicking our email link. We do not include your name, email address or wedding details in those action measurements. Film providers receive technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, when their player loads. See our cookie information for more details.

Keeping information

We retain information for as long as it is needed for the enquiry, booking, business record or legal purpose for which it was collected. The appropriate period depends on the information and purpose. Contact us if you would like to discuss a particular record.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us about the information we hold about you, request a copy, or ask for correction or deletion. Other rights, including restriction, objection and portability, may apply depending on how information is used. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
