Letters before the vows, singing after dark
Emily & Ben

Emily and Ben wanted a wedding film with room for the emotion of the day. Their handwritten letters, ceremony at St Giles Church in Scartho and speeches at Stallingborough Grange gave us plenty of personal words to work with. The evening had a rather different pace: singing, saxophone and a very happy dance floor.
Words worth keeping
Emily read Ben’s letter before the ceremony, surrounded by the people helping her get ready. It was a lovely, quieter moment in a morning with plenty of laughter too.
At St Giles Church they made their promises with family and friends around them. The hugs outside afterwards had the happy relief that so often follows the ceremony.
An autumn wedding at Stallingborough Grange
Emily’s stepdad Richard, Ben and best men Dan and Michael spoke at the reception. Having those familiar voices in the film mattered: words a couple can hear quite differently once the rush of the day has passed.
The garden walls and willow trees at Stallingborough Grange gave them a little time together before the evening. Back inside, their guests were soon singing and dancing, with a saxophonist among the crowd. We loved having both the tenderness and that energy to work with.
