Still making each other laugh
Holly & Jamie
Watch their film ↓
Jamie remembered seeing Holly at school and suddenly finding himself unusually lost for words. Years later, at their Solberge Hall wedding, he told everyone about the racing heart and the rush to see her after school. Holly had her own promises ready, including listening to his advice — and occasionally taking it.
Vows in the Solberge Hall gardens
They married outside beneath the timber gazebo, with their guests in the sunshine. Holly thanked Jamie for making her laugh every day and for the care he gave Toby, their dog. Toby was there too, smartly dressed for the occasion.
Their vows were personal and heartfelt. The smiles as they listened to each other were lovely, with their family close by to hear the promises too.
The story before the wedding
When Jamie spoke later, he returned to those school days. Holly had heard much of their history before, but the way he remembered falling in love gave her something new to listen to.
The best men were happy to supply the less sentimental contributions. Having people who grew up with the couple in the room meant the speeches could wander between genuine affection and familiar teasing.
Sunshine, games and an evening together
Solberge Hall’s lawns gave guests space to spread out for games and conversation, with live singing adding to the afternoon. We could take Holly and Jamie for a short walk without losing the gathering around the house.
As the reception moved indoors, the first dance and their friends brought another burst of energy. Their film remembers the sunshine, but it is Holly and Jamie’s ease together — and the years behind it — that holds the day together.
