At home, then down to the beach
Jade & Stu
Watch their film ↓
Jade and Stu married at Cleethorpes register office, then celebrated at her parents’ house. It was full of fun, with friends happy to join in and some lovely personal words between the two of them. We also slipped away to the beach: the dunes, a little wind in Jade’s dress and the two of them walking hand in hand.
The start of a friendship
This is Jade Clay, the hair and make-up artist whose name appears in quite a few of our wedding stories. Her wedding is how we got to know her. It is lovely to look back at it now, after sharing so many other wedding mornings.
The celebration at her parents’ house had a real sense of being among friends. Flowers framed their personal promises, there was laughter as well as emotion, and the party needed very little encouragement.
Their own words, their own place
Jade and Stu’s words were about what they brought out in each other and the life they wanted to share. Stu promised to stay beside her. Hearing that affection alongside the jokes and the party is a large part of why we still love this film.
The beach portraits gave us a different side of the day. They looked completely at ease together, walking through the sand with the grass and dunes behind them. A wedding close to home, with plenty of personality and people worth remembering.
