It started with a single rose
Kayley & Sam

Sam brought a single rose when he first met Kayley in a bar. Twelve years later, both of them remembered it in the words they shared on their wedding day. Kayley had gone into that first meeting without knowing what he looked like; Sam, she pointed out, had done his research.
Rain at The Beverley Barn
Rain meant their ceremony moved inside The Beverley Barn. Their guests gathered around them for the vows, with Bella, their French Bulldog, part of the wedding too.
Afterwards, the skies cleared and everyone could spend time outside. The grounds gave us room for their portraits and plenty of chances to film guests enjoying the afternoon together.
The words they saved for each other
Later, Kayley and Sam read letters to one another in the evening light. They spoke about the encouragement they had found in each other and how much had grown from that first meeting. The rose still made them laugh.
Sam’s speech was just as affectionate, with a little self-deprecating humour. His best man spoke warmly about his character and how happy Kayley had made him.
A brighter evening
Sunglasses came out for portraits, and the party took over inside the barn. Sparklers gathered everyone outside again after dark.
Their wedding gave us rain, sunshine and a very lively evening. The story running through it was theirs: two people who met in their early twenties, grew together and still remembered the flower that started it.
