The family tree is complete

Chris knew exactly how long it had been since Laura walked into his life. In his speech he counted the days back to their first meeting, squeezed in before her night shift. At their wedding, he also remembered a promise he had made to their children: that he would marry their mum. That day, he could tell them he had kept it.
A family ceremony at Helme Church
Laura and Chris married at Helme Church, with their children and families around them. Chris later spoke about seeing Laura walk down the aisle and having to remind himself how fortunate he was.
Laura’s father praised the dad Chris had become and welcomed him as his son-in-law. Those words gave the film something particular to follow: a marriage celebrating the family they had already built.
The reception at Meltham Golf Club
After confetti at the church, everyone moved to Meltham Golf Club. The marquee, pink flowers and open grounds gave the afternoon a lighter feel, with speeches, drinks and children moving between the tables.
Laura and Chris took a little time together outside as the sun dropped through the trees. Their guests were waiting back at the reception, ready for the evening.
An evening led by the band
Storm played the evening and the dance floor filled around Laura and Chris. The children were there too, part of the party as much as the ceremony.
They booked us after a friend’s recommendation, fairly close to the wedding. We are glad they did. Their film lets them hear Chris’s promise again and see the family gathered around them when he finally kept it.
