Love, happiness and patience
Summer & Fraser
Watch their film ↓
When Summer and Fraser first moved in together, they made a toast to love and happiness. Summer added patience. Fraser brought the toast back in his wedding speech at Woodlands Hotel, after telling everyone about the family they had since become — with a dog and, rather wonderfully, twin daughters.
A beginning that needed a second chance
Fraser remembered trying to impress Summer at a friend’s barbecue, several years before they became a couple. His attempted kiss at the end of the evening was not a great success. Fortunately, it was not the end of their story.
By their wedding day, they had moved in together, got engaged and welcomed their girls. Fraser spoke about Summer’s care for the twins and how proud he was to be beside her.
A ceremony at Woodlands Hotel
They married inside Woodlands, with white flowers around them and the gardens beyond the windows. The girls were close by during the preparations and celebrations, passed between familiar family arms.
Their guests had travelled to join them, something Summer was careful to acknowledge in her speech. Her dad Wayne raised a toast to her high standards and the partner who had met them. Best man Lee arrived with a warning about the stories Fraser hoped he had forgotten.
Room for the whole family
The grounds at Woodlands Hotel gave us portraits by the steps and a little time among the trees, before everyone came back together for the evening. The girls appear throughout, in family arms and alongside their parents.
By the first dance, the room was ready to join in. Their own toast was to love, happiness and patience. With twins to look after, patience sounded like a useful addition.
Summer’s aunt had made the cake, another lovely family contribution.
