Zina and Tony brought their family and friends together for a blessing at St Giles Church in Holme, followed by a reception at Holmewood Hall. The horse-drawn carriage suited the red-brick house beautifully. What we remember most, though, is Zina’s laughter and how happy the two of them looked among their guests.
A blessing, then Holmewood Hall
Already civilly married, Zina and Tony chose a church blessing for this gathering. It gave their family and friends the chance to share in the promises and celebrate with them.
Holmewood Hall brought everyone back together for the reception, with its gardens and rooms giving the afternoon plenty of space. Their carriage made a lovely setting for portraits, but neither of them needed much help to look happy.
A room ready to celebrate
Zina’s dad Randy, Tony and best men David and Martin spoke at the reception. There were raised glasses, affectionate stories and plenty of laughter from the tables.
The first dance led into an evening with their friends around them. Tony’s jacket came off, the dance floor filled, and the formality gave way to a party. That easy pleasure in each other’s company is what we wanted their film to bring back.
