Maddie & Jack at Stallingborough Grange

Jack once moved to Thailand to try life as a diving instructor. Maddie supported him, even though it meant time apart. Seven weeks later he came home: he missed her too much. That story, told in his speech at Stallingborough Grange, says a great deal about the two of them.

Finding their way home

Jack’s RAF service had taken him to Scotland, where he served with Maddie’s cousin Dan. There were adventures ahead, but his plans eventually brought him back to Maddie. In their vows, the goodbyes and reunions were still very much part of their story.

Her dad Simon had his own memories to share, from Maddie as a child to the person standing beside Jack. His welcome made it clear that Jack already belonged in the family.

A wedding at Stallingborough Grange

The ceremony brought those promises in front of their guests, followed by confetti and time together outside. The house and gardens at Stallingborough Grange kept everything close, so they could enjoy a little time away without disappearing from the gathering.

A party to come back to

Their first dance was to John Legend’s A Good Night. With music, entertainment and friends quick to join the dance floor, the evening had plenty of energy.

Jack’s speech gives it a particularly personal thread. He had tried a life a long way away, and realised where he wanted to be. We were very happy to record the day they celebrated that together.
