A standing ovation for Megan

A ceremony in the gardens

The outdoor ceremony took place beneath the gazebo, with their guests gathered in the gardens. Amber and Rocket, their dogs, joined the wedding too. Harry thanked Megan for looking after their home and their little family; seeing the dogs beside them made that family feel wonderfully complete.

After the vows came confetti and congratulations. There was time for the two of them in Elsham Hall’s grounds, then back to their guests and the reception in the barn.

A brother who knew the whole story

Megan’s dad Dave and Harry’s brothers Max and Sam joined him in giving speeches. His twin brother had a lifetime of material to draw on. His memories went back to their childhood, with the sort of teasing that comes from knowing someone from the very beginning.

Harry’s own words were full of gratitude for Megan. Megan’s reaction to that standing ovation was lovely. The room was very much with Harry.

Back into the barn

The first dance brought everyone around Harry and Megan before the dance floor filled. Elsham Hall gave the day its gardens, open space and barn, but the people made it lively.
