Olivia and Michael’s wedding began at Old Clee Church and continued at Elsham Hall, with their little girl in the middle of it all. Michael spoke about the adventures they had shared and the ones still to come as a family of three. The film has plenty of those family moments already: getting ready together, holding hands in the gardens and joining the evening celebrations.
Promises at Old Clee Church
Their guests filled the pews as Olivia and Michael made their vows at the front of the church. Afterwards everyone gathered outside for confetti and congratulations.
Back at Elsham Hall, the gardens gave them time together between the gatherings. Their daughter joined them for a walk, swinging between their hands, and later for portraits by the water.
The people who have watched them become a family
Olivia and Michael both spoke about how much it meant to have their favourite people together. Friends remembered their relationship and the joy of seeing them become parents; Olivia’s dad Simon praised the kindness she brought to her family.
The speeches were affectionate and funny, with Michael getting a fair share of teasing. Olivia was laughing, friends were looking over at one another, and their little girl was close by.
An Elsham Hall evening
The brick barn took the celebration from speeches into dancing, while the gardens and little bridges gave the afternoon its setting. As night arrived, guests gathered outside with sparklers before returning to the party.
