The people who make a place feel like home
Hayley & Jack

Hayley and Jack's wedding moved from the bells and stillness of St Benedict's Church to a bright, easy-going reception at Scrivelsby Walled Garden. Their son George was close to the heart of it all, giving the day a strong sense of family from beginning to end.
A quiet beginning at Lion Gate Lodge
Hayley prepared at Lion Gate Lodge, just across from Scrivelsby Walled Garden, with her sister, bridesmaids and the gentle activity that gathers around a wedding morning. Jack spent that time with his best man and George. Having two of us filming meant neither side needed to be reduced to a quick visit.
The atmosphere was calm, but emotion sat close to the surface. Hayley wore her late mother's wedding ring, a small and deeply meaningful detail that connected the day to someone profoundly missed.
The bells of St Benedict's Church
The ceremony brought stone, bells, close family and the natural anticipation of waiting at the aisle. Hayley entered with her father Gary, while Jack and George waited at the front.
Their vows held humour alongside tenderness. Jack's promise to Gary that he would always cherish Hayley was one of those unforced moments that quietly changes the feeling in a room. We filmed it simply, allowing the words and reactions to do the work.
A reception in Scrivelsby Walled Garden
After the ceremony, the day opened into the gardens. Scrivelsby Walled Garden has an enclosed, private quality that suits a relaxed reception: guests can settle into the lawns, move between conversation and games, and enjoy the setting without the celebration feeling overly managed.
Lawn games brought out the playful side of the guests, while live saxophone gave the drinks reception an easy pulse. As the light softened, we took Hayley and Jack away only briefly, giving them space together without turning the wedding into a prolonged portrait session.
Filming at Scrivelsby Walled Garden
Scrivelsby Walled Garden is particularly strong for couples who want a Lincolnshire wedding to feel private, outdoors and unhurried. The walls and mature planting give definition to the space, while the open lawn supports games, music and a reception that develops naturally around the guests.
For us, it offers variety without spectacle for spectacle's sake. Hayley and Jack's film could hold both the emotional formality of their church ceremony and the loose, sunlit character of the celebration that followed.
