The nice boy from the barbecue
Abbie & Aaron
Watch their film ↓
Abbie and Aaron first crossed paths at a friend’s barbecue in 2010, but barely had the chance to talk. She remembered him as the nice boy who had to leave. A few months later, on a night out in Sheffield, they got their second chance. By their Laceby Manor wedding, their friends had a much longer story to tell.
A ceremony and a proud dad
Their ceremony brought the rings and promises in front of their family, with plenty of smiles between them. Abbie’s dad had hoped to get through the day without tears, but seeing her in her dress had already defeated that plan.
He spoke about the caring woman she had become. Aaron was just as taken with her, telling the room that she had taken his breath away.
Long friendships, and an evening together
Aaron’s friend had nearly twenty years of memories to draw on, including a few observations about his taste in trainers. Beneath the teasing was a sincere thank-you for a loyal friendship.
Laceby Manor’s gardens gave us time with Abbie and Aaron beneath the trees, close to their guests. The evening was lively, with friends crowding the dance floor and singing along. It was a pleasure to have both the family sentiment and that energy to work with.
